SEAA XC Championships

Southern XC Championships at Parliament Hills

"The best weekend of the year! Give me that pen!"

The club organises, and pays for, entry and travel to the South of England Athletics Association (SEAA) Southern Cross Country Championships.

When: Saturday 28th January 2017

Where: Parliament Hills, London, NW3 1TH

  • - 8,000m for Senior Ladies, starting at 2.05pm
  • - 15,000m for Senior Men, starting at 2.50pm

The coach departs the club early Saturday morning (around 7am) and arrives back late Saturday evening (around 9pm)

The race is seriously tough, even for a cross country, but is a whole load of fun, and definitely something to be proud of finishing. You will come back covered in mud, so a change of clothes and several pairs of shoes are must haves!

If anyone is interested in running in the Southern XC Championships, please put your name down on the list at the club. This must be done by Thursday 8th December, to allow us time to submit the entries to SEAA.

Please only put your name down if you are seriously interested in taking part in the race. Entry and travel costs the club a considerable amount of money and we don't want people to commit to the race and then drop out at the last minute.

For more information please visit the SEAA Website.
