Wroxham 5k 2017 - Race 1 Results

Results from the first Wroxham 5k Race

Congratulations to all 593 runners who took part in last night's first Wroxham 5k Series race. Last year we had a record 477 finishers, and wondered if we could beat it. Not only did we beat it, but absolutely smashed it. It was great to see so many happy (if slightly painful looking) faces cross the finish line, with people achieving personal bests and having a great race. Luckily the rain held off for most of the race.

Nick Earl, of City of Norwich AC, was the race winner and first male across the line, in a brilliant gun time 14:55, with Piers Arnold, of City of Norwich AC, in second place, and Dominic Blake, of Reepham Runners, in third.

Emma Risbey was the first female across the line, with a brilliant gun time of 17:46. Abigail Durand, of North Norfolk Harriers AC, was second in 17:51, and Colleen Mukuya, of Great Yarmouth and District AC, was third, in 17:57 gun time.
