NRR at Catton Park to support the charity Leeway

A team of Norwich Road Runners supported Leeway, the Domestic violence charity, at their charity run.

Leeway, a charity that provides specialist domestic support in Norfolk and Suffolk, held a 3 hour endurance run at Catton Park on Sunday the 20th January 2019. For a small fee, individuals or teams could record how many mile laps they could achieve in the time window 1200 to 1500. Opened by the Broadland District Council chairperson, Judy Leggett, the event was a relaxed one, with organisation and support provided by some regular Catton Park run stalwarts and photos provided by out very own Stephanie Wenn

An NRR Team of Kerry Lymberry, Steven Moseley and Keith Walpole put in a good team effort of 23 laps. Well done!

there was another 'more senior' NRR member who signed up after wandering on to the park with his dog, and ,after walking his dog and returning to run, managed to put in 7 miles!. Luckily for all he was too late for the official photos. Charity runs like this, that support local and regional charities are a good way to get training in while making your contribution of a small fee. Keep an eye out for them.
