Run Norwich 10k

Run Norwich 10k Race Report

Norwich Road Runners turned out in force for the 4th edition of the popular Run Norwich 10k.  Now establishing itself as a major mass event in Norfolk NRR had 234 entrants registered to the race making it the highest turnout for Norfolk running clubs and approximately 3% of the total entrants.

The hot weather continued in Norfolk making the conditions difficult and the need for plenty of water leading up to Sunday!

A challenging course which has a mix of downhill in the first half is then met with a halfway climb up Rose Lane, a feature of the race which is becoming a talking point; it has the potential to really hurt your time!  Runners get to drop down again before making their way through the Cathedral grounds before a upward trend towards the finish in front of the City Hall.

The bag of refreshments is welcome at the finish along with the well earned quality medal.

NRR would like to thank The Community Sports Foundation for another brilliant event along with all the volunteers whom we know make this race possible.

The Clubs members' results are here.
